IAAP is the agency we used to adopt Sarah. They have a waiting 4 year old girl and a waiting 5 year old boy (both with corrected special needs). They are both healthy and intelligent. They need families now! China only allows an agency to hold a child's file for 3 months. Generally the agency must return the files after this time. Most agency's can ask to hold the files over for an additional 3 months, but after that they must be returned. A child's file generally gets sent to another agency, but eventually they are labeled un adoptable. At that point, they will never have a family. They will send the rest of their childhood in the institution. They will suffer with the feeling nobody wanted them. I've seen the look of optimism in the eyes of young orphans, and the look of empty hopelessness in the eyes of the older kids. Thomas was adopted at the age of 7 years. It's taken years to convince him he wasn't worthless because he waited so long. Please pray for these two kids to find their families now! Every child should know the joy of having a family, and a place where they belong!
