Help an orphan at Christmas time
I know that money is tight this year. It is tight everywhere. As you do your Christmas shopping, I thought I could encourage you to give a little money to help orphans. Here are a few ideas. LWB has a HOLIDAY WISH LIST. You can spend $25 to buy a Walker or $75 to buy a crib. It's a real practical way to help meet a need. AAI has a program called the grace fund. This helps cover the adoption fees for hard to place orphans. AAI has found families for older Ethiopian sibling groups and HIV positive children. This fund makes it possible for families to bring these kids home. We visited a great home in Bangkok called the Christian Care Foundation. They take Special Needs orphans out of the State run Orphanage and give them extra care. They do a great work! They also have a wish list. These are just a few ideas. Please remember the poor at Christmas. Put them on the top of your list.
